Ola Linda: Fashion That Honors Earth & Women

Our Roots: A Movement, Not Just a Brand

Ola Linda was born in Pimentel, Peru—where the Pacific Ocean meets golden sands—with a mission to empower women and preserve tradition. In 2023, we began as a small initiative partnering with single mothers and artisans from Chiclayo’s local markets. Every stitch, weave, and dye tells a story of resilience.

How We Craft Sustainably (2025 Focus)

 Ethical Materials

  • Pima Cotton: Grown without pesticides, softer and longer-lasting than conventional cotton.

  • Junco Reed & Coconut Shell: Harvested by hand, supporting biodiversity in Northern Peru.

 Zero-Waste Mindset

  • Off-cut fabrics repurposed into hair accessories or patchwork designs.

  • Natural dyes from Peruvian plants (no chemical runoff).

 Slow Fashion, Fair Wages

  • Each collection is made-to-order to reduce overproduction.

  • 200% above local minimum wage for our artisans (transparent pricing breakdowns at checkout).

Our Impact in Numbers

3 women lifted out of informal work since 2023.
100+ kg of ocean-bound plastic diverted (swimwear linings).
1 tree planted per order (partnering with Chum Peru in Tarapoto)

"We don’t just make clothes—we make change."

Women-Led, From Seed to Stitch

Ola Linda is a 100% women-owned business—founded by women, partnering with female artisans, and designed for women who demand better. In a world where only 2% of fashion brands are owned by women, we’re proud to champion:

  • Female leadership (Our Swiss-Peruvian team is entirely women-run).

  • Economic independence for artisans (85% of our partners are sole breadwinners).

  • Size-inclusive design by women, for women (no male gaze, no unrealistic standards).

Interesting fact: “In Peru, and globally, women tend to reinvest 80% of income in their families’ education and health—your purchase creates ripple effects.”
